The More Economic Approach to Public and Private Competition Law Enforcement: EU vs. Albania
The round table on 25 June 2025 focused on embedding the “more economic approach” in cases involving restrictive agreements, abuse of dominant position, merger control, and compensation for harm caused by competition-law infringements. The discussions took into consideration the institutional, procedural, and other challenges related to strengthening effective competition-law enforcement in Albania. This round table contributed to the academic and professional debate by encouraging comparative analysis in order to support the effective enforcement of competition rules in Albania according to the implementation of European competition standards.
